An A380 aircraft has about four million parts, 2.5 million of which are produced by 1,500 companies from 30 countries around the world. It is not difficult to imagine how the maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) of aircrafts can prove to be an immense logistical challenge.
With years of experience in providing integrated logistics services, Keppel Logistics participated in MRO Asia 2014 from 4 to 6 November 2014 to showcase its extensive logistics and supply chain capabilities to the aviation industry.
One solution showcased was Keppel Logistics' Tampines LogisPark warehouse, slated for completion in the coming months. W ith close proximity to Seletar Aerospace Park and Changi Airport, Keppel Logistics is well-positioned to serve the aviation industry's MRO requirements and other industries relying on time critical logistics.
