With a sizeable fleet of prime movers and trucks in its logistics operations, Keppel Logistics is committed to promoting higher safety standards by continually engaging its subcontractors and the community.
Through Keppel Care Foundation, Keppel Logistics made a $10,000 donation to the Singapore Road Safety Council (SRSC) at a gala dinner on 4 September 2015.
Mr Desmond Boo, GM, Keppel Logistics Singapore, received a token of appreciation from Mr Bernard Tay, Chairman of SRSC and Mr Lui Tuck Yew, then Minister for Transport and Second Minister for Defence. SRSC is a non-profit organisation that aims to improve safety standards on Singapore roads by inculcating good safety practices among road users.
Earlier in July this year, Keppel Logistics also rolled out a set of road safety standards for its managed vehicles across its operations. It plans to progressively implement these safety standards to its transport subcontractors.
