Keppel continually engages investors, industry stakeholders and governments to showcase the Group's commitment and efforts in growing its overseas operations.
In end-September 2015, PineBridge Investments and Barclays Bank visited Keppel Logistics Foshan, bringing back fresh learnings about Keppel's Chinese logistics business. The half-day trip to Keppel Logistics Foshan featured site tours to Lanshi Port and Nanhai Distribution Centre where investors had the chance to inspect Lanshi Port's integrated services from import/export port operations to customs inspection and declaration, as well as the Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) Racking System served by busy movers and trucks in Nanhai Distribution Centre.
The visit was rounded off with a robust discussion with CEO of Keppel Telecommunications & Transportation (Keppel T&T), Mr Thomas Pang, CEO of Keppel T&T China Business Unit Mr Vincent Ko, and the team from Keppel Logistics Foshan. Investors left the trip impressed with the valuable insights gained on Keppel Logistics' operations in China.
